Block Orc Game Reviews

This Page is where I put all my game reviews so you don't have to go back till you find the one you are looking for, the way its going to work is all you have to do is simply when you want to comment write the title of the Review you are commenting on at the top of your comment, this also includes any Reviews I re-do as I will name them say Minecraft 2, although the original would still be called Minecraft. This area of the blog is still in Beta so be sure to leave your opinion, it helps me improve this blog.

Minecraft Review
Minecraft is a game that relies slightly too much on the imagination of the player. It has other aspects but you really do need a good imagination to play it, apart from this I would highly recommend the game but mainly towards the younger readers as when young most people have a large imagination. Even if your imagination isn't too good there are certain aspects that you may find enjoyable, such as the survival factor. I find when playing a survival game on Easy is slightly too easy but still holds some challenge. The fact that you build and craft and battle are three things in the game which make it good. The one thing that I enjoy (personally) is going on servers, discussing different things and playing games, just doing a multiplayer survival game or making a PVP arena and seeing who is a better fighter. With swords and bows being the only weapons it can get kind of boring fighting with these common weapons that you read about or use on other games. The mods for this game really do help add a different feel to the game. There are a few mods that I will review later such as Mo' Creatures or The Helicopter mod that just add a bit of fun to playing, like adding different things to make, different enemies and peaceful mobs. Although some people who play a range of fighting games would think that Minecraft is too easy or boring for them, it might just be that as they are used to playing games where you don't need an imagination, where the graphics are amazing and it's already imagined for you. Minecraft adds the feel that you can create your own world and not just use ones other people have created (although you do have that option with adventure maps). Over all I would recommend this game but to a younger audience and/ or someone that hasn't played to many different games as these may by games that do not require imagination.

That's it for this review I hope this was informative and I will see you guys later!

Cube World Review
Cube World is a Voxel Base games which was inspired by Zelda, Minecraft and a dozen other games. You have some freedom in this games and it is similar to Minecraft in more then one way but it is definitely more restricting then Minecraft as crafting is very minimal, among other things. You start out by creating a character, this is also more restricting then Minecraft since you have to pick a race and you can't change it like you can with Minecraft skins, without mods anyway. Although the games base is extremely complicated (As most bases of games are) the controls are fairly simple once you learn them. Overall I find the game very fun and I would highly advise it to a slightly older audience then Minecraft as it is more set on Quests and Challenges. Although Cube World is still in Alpha it is already extremely complicated and has Online Multiplayer set up, although there are quite a few glitches and it is fairly easy to Hack. On the left you see a picture of one of the races, The Orc, which was my inspiration for my latest Minecraft skin which inspired Block Orc, is one of the races you can pick. There is also a Human, an Elf, a Frog, an Undead, a Goblin and a Dwarf. One of the many things they are working on is the creation of more playable races, the latest example of this is the Undead playable race, which was added recently. So far there hasn't been an update since July but it is still very fun despite that. Overall Thoughts: Although it needs a bit of work Cube World is an extremely fun game, I would highly recommend it and the Creators are really good at what they do and at answering questions.
Ok Doodz that's it for this review, don't forget to leave a comment and follow me by Email if you found this useful in anyway and I will see you later!

Spore Review
Creation DetailSpore is an extremely creative game where the player creates there own race, creature, building or vehicle. You can buy a few expansions for the game, Creepy and Cute, Robot parts and Galactic Adventures. Spore has one down fall though, its creators show no interest in updating or improving Spore in any way, choosing to simply leave Spore as it is. Despite this Spore is very fun and easy to play, probably not a game for first timers though. Apart from the game itself its forum and community are amazing and friendly, especially on the Sporum (Spore Forum) which I am a part of myself. Although the Sporum also needs a bit of work it is easy to use and there are some cool contests on it (Build offs, creature making...) I do find that while creating the restrictions are annoying, as you can only place a certain amount of parts on one creature even
when your not playing on a world, just creating with the Create option. I played Spore and no other game for about two years and now my computer refuses to run it, I would still be on the forums but I forgot my password. \*_*/  Overall Review; Spore needs some work which probably wont happen. Spore has an amazing community. Spore is also very fun to mess around with and I would recommend it to about an audience of Nine to Twenty-five. That's it for this review, I hope this was useful to you and I will see you later!
PS: The images on the left is one of my Spore creations, the Rinuhawk

Poptropica Review
Poptropica is an online virtual world where the player creates a character which can be edited at almost anytime, as long as there are NPC's somewhere on the island you are on. Islands are quests which the player must try to complete to earn medallions. Each island is released every few months and, in the case of the Poptropolis Games, they disappear every so often, so you have to be quick if you want your medallion! There are a few things that parents need to be aware of and if you are a child wanting to become a player on Poptropica then you should tell your parents this information. Although Poptropica does have some multiplayer aspects you can only communicate with the pre-set chat topics, such as; "Can you draw?"or "Can you burp your ABC's?"
Because of this limit of speech it is a good game for beginners and is safe for everyone to use. Control wise, the controls are pretty basic, the only challenging controls are different parts of islands like games, as these are supposed to be a challenge to the player. The beginner islands are fairly simple, these are time travel, shark tooth, 24 carrot and early Poptropica. Overall Review; Poptropica is safe for all ages, it has simple controls and limited speech and it is a good starting game.

Angry Birds Space Review
Angry Birds Space is one of the many Rovio Entertainment Angry Birds apps that have been released so far. If you don't already know what Angry Birds it will be in a post soon. There are a few bad things about Angry Birds that, although improve sales, are kind of annoying. The first of these is the fact that the games are highly addictive and someone could easily spend over three hours playing it. The game itself is extremely fun (which is implied if it's addictive) and, although it could use some minor tweaks it is an extremely good game as it is still being updated and improved in tons of different ways, new level here, bug fix there. Although there are many levels and they do get harder as you go on, it's fairly easy to, once you get the hang of it, complete these levels after a few tries. The game is fairly easy and probably one of the easier games to lean fast. The controls are simple, click, drag, release and sometimes tap. Now onto the Space version itself. It has a fairly simple back-story in-game with fairly detailed pictures. The base of the story is that the Space birds must try and help their new friend, the ice bird, to take back something that the pigs stole, an egg I believe. So you may complete different levels and defeat pigs until you complete that set of levels, and in the end the game. There are a few different bird you use in Angry Birds Space, the Ice bird, red bird, the blue bird/s, the "Hulk" bird (large red), the yellow fast bird, which is skinned as a purple birds with the heat vision glasses from X-Men and then there's just the round bomb bird. Overall Review: Angry Birds Space is a very good game, it is slightly addictive and I would recommend it for about Seven to Twenty-one

TOME Immortal Arena: KIXEYE Series

TOME is a free, browser MOBA similar to LoL and Dota.
The main problems with TOME is that, a: its a browser game, meaning it can be very laggy, as well as making other programs laggy. b: its quite a common game type, meaning some people will prefer the paid, more complete games to a still in the works browser game.
TOME, like most games, can be addictive, it never ends and is very fun. TOME is currently in Beta so in some regions you need a Beta Key, such as New Zealand. TOME has a variety of characters whose powers and statistics vary, but they are all similar in the way that they all have their uses. For instances, Robin, a character from the Dominion of Air, she has decent range and a good set of powers that will assist her allies. She is useful to have for a few different reasons, chief among them is assist and range. Robin is good at helping other players with different abilities like shield, which shields an ally from attack for a small time. TOME's community can be a bit tough to get along with. Like a lot of games more experienced players may not accept a newbie into their ranks. MOBAs can have very tough communities to get into, nobody really means to I don't think, but it happens. If you have played MOBAs before then you'll be fine, I'm sure.
